On stage, in close combat with the machine, a director works to create one of the theatre's most illustrious effects: the thunderstorm. Accompanied by a technician and a musician, she operates all the theatre's machinery. It rumbles, thunders, slams, belches, gushes, there's smoke, the air is cloudy. Radically burlesque, an athletic energy unfurls from the plastic and musical construction of the stage.
