For some unknown reason, strange deformities of the genitalia have been observed in Lake Thun whitefish. Genetic changes, infectious diseases and toxic pollutants are thought to be among the causes". Extract from scientific research carried out by a team of biologists in the Department of Environmental Toxicology of the Canton of Berne.
Various theories have been suggested, including the burial of munitions from the 2nd World War and the possible toxicity of the water in the Canton of Bern due to oestrogenic residues from contraceptive pills in the water or explosives used during work on the Swiss railway... This study is the starting point for a spectacular conference whose central theme is the impact of our environment, whether natural, social, historical or psychological, on our organisms. In the course of the lecture, two biologist-researchers see their bodies and their consciousnesses begin to produce curious manifestations.
