-Charlot plays Carmen (A burlesque on Carmen) - 1915 - accompanied by excerpts from the opera by Georges Bizet
Parody of Bizet's Carmen. Smugglers come ashore and send Carmen the gypsy to Don José in order to control the town's smuggling and secure their trade.

-Charlot and Fatty make the bomb (The Rounders) - 1913 - accompanied by FIH Biber's Battalia
Charlie and Fatty, who have just been on a raging bender, return to their respective homes. They both face their angry wives and decide to flee. They make ends meet and return to the cabaret. But their wives are determined to find them. Charlot and his accomplice continue to flee and take a boat. Unfortunately, the boat has a hole in it.

-Charlot Soldat (Shoulder Arms) - 1918 - with music composed during the 14-18 war or by composers who died during the First World War.
Charlot is mobilised and spends time in the trenches, carrying out many heroic deeds, including capturing the Kaiser himself. But is this just a dream?

If you're a fan of the burlesque virtuoso Charlie Chaplin, then you'll be tempted to see or re-see this show for young and old alike.
