02 February

The conference, organised by ALMA, "Routes et chemins de Lamorlaye, de la chaussée Brunehaut à la route royale" will look at the roads around Lamorlaye, their development over time and their interaction with Lamorlaye. From Antiquity to the 19th century, historian and archaeologist Nicolas Bilot will place the Chaussée Brunehaut, the medieval network, the forest roads, the Route Royale (now the RD1016) and even the railway and navigation on the Oise in their historical context. He will show how, at each period, from the creation of the new town in the 12th century to Roissy and the RER in the 20th century, the town interacted with its communication network.
Face-to-face or remote via Teams.
