New Year's concert at the Château de Chantilly

The place to be in the New Year!

This 9th New Year's concert by the Orchestre Philharmonique de l'Oise coincides with the bicentenary of the Société Philharmonique de Beauvais, which gave birth to the orchestra. 1825 is also the bicentenary of the birth of Johann Strauss II. The 2025 programme reflects these anniversaries by featuring the overture to an opera buffa composed by Gioachino Rossini in 1825, as well as some of the most emblematic works by Johann Strauss Jr. Johann Strauss père, Georges Bizet, Hans-Cristian Lumbye, Jacques Offenbach and the very contemporary Mexican composer Arturo Marquez are also invited to the festivities.

Direction :
This year's concert is conducted by Sylvain Leclerc, who has already brilliantly conducted the Orchestra on several occasions in Beauvais, and who the Cantilian public will be delighted to discover in his turn.
