Pictorial revolutions: when art reveals its time" lecture

The first event of the season, we offer you a subjective history of painting in a few pictures.
What a difference between Jérôme Bosch, Jacques-Louis David and Pablo Picasso! And yet all three of them expressed the fundamental issues of their time in their paintings, each using totally innovative processes.
We will be accompanied on our pictorial wanderings by the criticisms of some of the great writers confronted with the shock of these great changes in the history of painting.
