Colette and Anna de Noailles: Women reinvented

Feminists without knowing it, ecologists before their time, both passionate about nature, love and writing, Colette and Anna de Noailles question the woman of today.
Being a woman was not easy in the early 20th century. Wife and mother, the roles were well assigned. You had to conform to convention, be beautiful and seductive, gentle and loving.
Colette and Anna were to create a new woman and take her place in society. Through their literary talent, they spoke about themselves and the world around them.
And unlike all their predecessors, they both achieved literary fame in their own lifetime, and were awarded the Légion d'honneur.
Through their lives, they have set an example of emancipation to find a new freedom.

Professor of History, who will be signing her book "Colette et Anna de Noailles, la femme réinventée".
