From the 07 January 2025

From 07 January to 18 January

The Espace Matisse in Creil invites you to discover the exhibition by Jérôme Mesnager and EZP from 15 November to 18 January in its gallery.

They are two French street artists with singular backgrounds:
Mesnager is one of the pioneers of Parisian urban art. The creator of the iconic "Man in White", a figure symbolising peace and light, he has left his mark on legendary sites from Paris to the Great Wall of China. His internationally acclaimed work evokes strength and poetry in public spaces.
EZP, on the other hand, is a Creillois artist who began his artistic adventure in graffiti in the 80s, influenced by Californian art. He developed a style combining offbeat humour and popular references that he transposed onto the walls of the areas he travelled through. Combining graffiti and stencils in works full of colour and meaning, he has reinvented his art through collaborations with other renowned artists.

This exhibition promises a dialogue between two generations of artists, uniting the power of Mesnager's symbols with the colourful work of EZP.
