Halloween at the Château de Chantilly

For the All Saints' Day holidays, from 18 October to 2 November 2023, the Château de Chantilly is offering a programme designed for the whole family.

Have you ever imagined exploring the castle in the dark? Visitors can discover the mysteries and legends of the castle on a guided tour by torchlight. A unique tour route has been devised through the castle's most beautiful rooms, in the chiaroscuro. All you need is a torch to light your way. A few surprises await you... A unique experience not recommended for the faint-hearted!
Departure from the main gate every 15 minutes - From age 7.

-Unusual visit - The Secrets of the Château
From Monday 21 October to Friday 31 October 2023 (except Tuesdays, weekends and public holidays), at 11am and 3pm.
What is the origin of the legend of the Lady in White? How was Raphael's Madonna of Loreto rediscovered? This autumn, the Château de Chantilly is offering original guided tours designed for all the family. The château and its painting collections can be discovered from a different angle through the presentation of unusual objects and thrilling anecdotes. A new perspective on the history and extraordinary collections of the Château de Chantilly.
Family (children aged 7 and over) - Price: 7 euros/pers. Book online on the château's website - Duration 45 mins - Meet in the château's main hall.

Halloween mask-making workshop
Wednesday 23 October and Wednesday 30 October at 3 pm (meet at 2.45 pm in front of the equestrian statue of the Constable). Duration: 45 minutes.
An activity leader from the Château de Chantilly will help the children to make Halloween masks. Terrifying, colourful, dark, deformed... there's something for everyone!
Price: €7 per child in addition to the 1-day ticket, one accompanying adult compulsory and free of charge.
Maximum 20 children per workshop, aged 5 to 8.

-Exclusive tour of the collections
Wednesday 23 October - Duration: 45 minutes
From 10.30 am to 12 noon: guided tour for Solo Pass subscribers.
From 11.00 am to 12.30 pm: guided tour for Pass Tribu subscribers.
For holders of the Solo or Tribe Passes, the Château de Chantilly is offering an exceptional visit to the masterpieces of the Musée Condé and the Theatre Library during the All Saints' Day holidays.
Meet at the Grille d'Honneur of the château 15 minutes before the tour begins. Please bring your Solo or Tribe Pass and present it to the guides. No admission will be granted without proof of identity.
Free for Solo Pass holders and Tribe Pass holders accompanied by their guest. Places are limited, please register via the newsletter sent to Annual Pass subscribers.

-Autumn Flavours Chantilly Cream Workshop

Food lovers beware! The Confrérie des Chevaliers fouetteurs de crème Chantilly will be teaching participants how to whip up real Chantilly cream by hand. They'll go home with their own pot of autumn-flavoured Chantilly cream (recipes vary according to the day): pumpkin cream Chantilly crepe, chestnut cream and rum Chantilly cream, orange blossom and honey Chantilly cream, etc.
Duration: 1 hour

-One day in Paris" equestrian show
Sunday 20 October, Thursday 24 October, Saturday 26 October, Sunday 27 October, Thursday 31 October, at 2.30pm.
An intense hour of entertainment in the life of Madame, with a host of equestrian disciplines taking centre stage under the dome of the Grandes Écuries de Chantilly: carriage driving, belted reins, liberty, haute école, acrobatics, acrobatics and equestrian fantasies.
