Indian Day in Gouvieux

In aid of the Orphans of South India, come and take part in Indian Day on Saturday 28 September at the Salle des Fêtes in Gouvieux.

The programme:

9.30 am - Public welcome
9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. - Individual massage sessions (€12/30 minutes, payable to the service provider) Pre-registration required by contacting 06-61-33-79-72 or lumieressurlinde@gmail.com
10.00 am to 12.30 pm: Introduction to yoga, 3 sessions (see details on Facebook) by qualified teachers, free session - Free donation to benefit the Orphans of South India
10.00 am to 6.00 pm: Crafts exhibition - Scent of Spices and Teas - Ayurveda products and books
- Henna tattoo (Mehendi) - €2/finger, €4/hand, €6/arm - payable to the service provider
- Browsing - €5 per person payable to the service provider,
- Demonstration of saree draping - Sessions at 2pm - 3pm - 4pm - 5pm
10.00 am to 6.00 pm: Exhibition and sale of handicrafts

* Mani stand (sarees) * Oise Danse Indienne stand (Indian snacks)
* Daisy stand (clothing and ornaments) - Khulfi Malai stand (clothing, handicrafts)
12:30: Opening of the buffet, home-made dishes, in the form of tasting plates
Home-made snacks and drinks (massala or plain tea, lassi, nannari juice),

2.00 pm to 6.00 pm: Introduction to Bollywood workshop by Khulfi Malai Danse Indian
Indian instrument (tablas) demonstration workshop by Daniel Fourier
6.00 pm: End of Discovery Day

Dinner and show from 8.00 pm to 11.30 pm with the honourable presence of Miss India France 2024, Giandra Uppilirajan
40 per adult - Preferential rate of €300 for a table of 8, Indian-style dinner (water included - wine not included)
Participation fee without dinner: €10 - Limited to 20 people
Indian folk dance performance by the Khulfi Malai Danse Indian group
Musical interludes by a duo of instrumentalists
Raffle in aid of South Indian Orphans
