Pink October at the Domaine de Chaalis

This year, for the first time, the Domaine de Chaalis is taking part in the Pink October campaign, alongside the French League Against Cancer! Over the weekends in October, activities will be organised to support the fight against breast cancer, raise awareness of breast screening and raise funds for research.

- Rose-themed orienteering race
Take part in an orienteering race to combine sport, cultural discovery and support for the Ligue contre le cancer.
Timetable : Continuous, 10am to 5pm

Discover how the human body is represented in works of art.

-Breast cancer prevention workshops
Learn how to prevent breast cancer with a volunteer from the Ligue contre le cancer du sein. Topics covered:
- Dare to talk about cancer: a place to ask questions and discuss the disease openly.
- Self palpation: what is it and how do you do it? Get to know your body better and spot the signs of good health.
- Take control of my health: discover the positive behaviours you can adopt to protect your health.
Dates: Saturday 19 and 26 October, 11am to 12.30pm
