Colourful costumes, sequins and frills: you can tell there's a show going on in the distance, behind a curtain. The Sea Girls appear, taking to the stage and revealing themselves to the audience, aided and abetted by the sparkling director Pierre Guillois. The three singers put on a delightful show of self-mockery and serial slip-ups in a show full of fantasy and feminist tunes.
