At the Chantilly racecourse in early June, this prestigious event has been the flagship competition for 3-year-old colts since 1836!

The best thoroughbreds of the new generation of 3-year-olds will try to secure this supreme title, one of the most prestigious in Europe.

This event is one of the most selective of the season, and each year rewards the fastest thoroughbred.

This Group I event, the highest level of horse racing, was created in 1836 and is contested over a distance of 2,100 metres, with an uphill final straight of 600 metres.



Sunday 2 June at 1.30pm: Guided tour "Behind the scenes at the Qatar Prix du Jockey Club".

Accompanied by a lecturer, immerse yourself in the heart of the 200-year history of the racecourse: from the first gallop in 1833 to the latest modernizations, including the creation of the legendary Grand Prix.
Then set off to discover the world of racing by visiting the various facilities (weighing, presentation ring, grandstands, stables, etc.) in the footsteps of the horses and jockeys. Thoroughbreds, training, the jockey's job and race programmes will hold no secrets for you, and you'll be ready for a great afternoon of horseracing!
