The forest often represents for men a place of mystery and legends. Seen as a natural place par excellence, the forest is in fact a space created by man for various uses such as hunting or silvicultural exploitation.
This walk, in partnership with the Institut de France, invites you to discover the secrets of the Chantilly forest along its paths, its emblazoned terminals and the traces of its progressive developments.
A place for walking, hunting, horse training, but also a silvicultural area, the Chantilly forest today has to make these different uses coexist and face an unprecedented crisis linked to climate change.
Between history and current events, come and look at the forest differently.
