Le Cachot

Le Cachot has been awarded 6 Certificates of Excellence over the last 6 years, so the quality of the tourist offer is of the highest standard to satisfy visitors. The dungeon is the best tourist site in Senlis and one of the best in the department. Every Saturday and Sunday at 3pm, the cachot takes visitors on a guided tour of the cellar and its archaeological treasures. (A real authentic "Indiana Jones" adventure). A drink is included in the price of the tour. Group tours are available on weekdays for groups of 4 or more. The dungeon, which dates back to 1249, is both a "Tavern" with a medieval tea room/shop and an "Inn" (occasional catering) with the organisation of candlelit Historical Dinners, dealing with the great enigmatic themes of history. www.tv60.fr
