This listed building, former mill of the Princes of Condé, is the heart of the hydraulic system which was used to convey water to the fountains and water jets in the gardens designed by André Le Nôtre!

Experience the evolution of the mechanism over 3 centuries by activating an impressive 17th-century wooden wheel, then plunge into the industrial revolution to the sound of 19th-century machinery. The height of modernism, the Pavillon also houses the Duc d'Aumale's fully mechanised laundry, a real curiosity that remained in operation until the 1970s. Whether you're on a self-guided tour, a family visit or a lecture tour, the Pavillon de Manse has something for everyone, combining history and leisure!

During the school holidays, children have lots of fun at science workshops: early learning, Kapla, fountains, challenge rallies and lots more!

Self-guided tour from 2pm to 6pm (last admission at 5pm) or guided discovery tour according to programme.
