Welcome to the gallery of Christian Peroz, local painter.

A few words about his career as a painter: He started painting a few years ago in a figurative style, quite quickly. He moved towards abstraction, which opens up a space of freedom and creativity, developing his sensory abilities and the inspiration that suits him best. He is self-taught, learning by doing, with a style that can make reference to some of the great painters: Nicolas de Staël, Zao-Wou-Ki, Soulages...

In recent years, he has taken part in exhibitions in Senlis, Paris, Persan-Beaumont, the Saint Antoine restaurant in Crépy en Valois, the Vertugadin in Chantilly and Sarrebourg. The gallery is also his studio, so it's atypical in that all the paintings are on display, so visitors can sort through them, choose, and take the time to contemplate. It's a great way to meet people in a friendly atmosphere, with much appreciated exchanges. He also creates objects from driftwood and salvaged materials that symbolise the sea and its shores.
